Smaug is attacking lake town and completely destroying the small town, Bard stands up to the beast, but can he kill it? 

Meanwhile Thorin is forcing the company to search through the massive piles of gold for the Arkenstone, unaware Bilbo has it in his possession.

Y/N has tried to bring Thorin out of his darkness but he refuses to believe he will become like his grandfather.

War is coming and the company is thrust into battle and Thorin must overcome this darkness and fight in the war or he will lose everyone...
