Long ago a group of people discovered that they were not like others. Fearing what may become of them if their individuality was found out, they sought out more like themselves. With strength in numbers they were able to build a community and live in peace among themselves where the outside world could do them no harm. For a time that is. For one day a lone man caught sight of a group of these people. Overcome by fear the man raced to tell of what he witnessed. Striking fear into all those he came into contact with, the group had no idea what was about to become of them. Many died, many went missing and the group was blamed for it all. Knowing that derision, scorn and contempt was all that awaited them there, the group left the small community that they helped to build.

Lukas Mayfield is your average 15 year old boy starting highschool. Unity Academy was founded in order to bring about the understanding and respect for each and every gift that gathered there.
