It's Chloe Potter's 5th year at Hogwarts, although she's not sure she wants to be there any more.

Dark times have come to Hogwarts. Chloe knows Voldemort will stop at nothing to find her, so what's a girl supposed to do when she's completely and utterly fallen for Draco Malfoy, the son of one of the Dark Lord's servants?

Many deny Voldemort has even returned, but Harry and Chloe are not alone... Professor Snape will teach them to defend themselves from the savage attacks that Voldemort is doing on their minds, the order of the phoenix will gather - but Voldemort is getting stronger day by day and Chloe will find herself struggling to chose right from wrong.

Unsure he will manage to keep her, Draco will fight for her with all his heart.

"You know I'm not a man of many wise words Chloe Potter." Said the boy, who I have always thought as rather dim "and I don't care who you are, or who you're related to..." "Ugh, where exactly are you going with this?" I rolled my eyes, looking into the amber flames of the fire that set homely and warm light around the room. The way the light danced across the walls made it seem as though the two of us were not alone. "The same way we've been trying to go for about two years" He said "come on, you can't really be that blind can you?" I paused, no idea what an earth he was talking about. I didn't reply to him, I just sat there. Refusing to talk to him, to give into what he was saying. He caught on and continued, as though my response wouldn't have mattered anyway. "You don't see the way he looks at you." I scoffed and tore my eyes away from the fireplace "and how exactly does he look at me, may I ask?" There was a sickening silence falling around the room as he sat in deep thought for a while. He joined me on the sofa and stared into the flames I had found comfort in looking into only seconds before. It was a small while before he spoke again and the words lingered around my head for an even longer time. It may not have even been what he had said, or even whether it was the truth. It was just the simplicity of it that made me want to hear more. "Like you're a wild fire and he's just desperate to burn." ---- *I do not own the Harry Potter series. *All characters and story lines belong to J.K Rowling (Besides Chloe, who is my own character) *this is set in the 4th year.
