ATHENA BRADSHIRE doesn't feel very worthy of her namesake when she hides out the first days of the apocalypse in her basement, waiting for the sounds of zombies limping down the creaky wooden stairs like they always eventually did in the movies. 

There are no zombies in this apocalypse. 

BRANDI GARTH would rather be called Benzie. Since the end began, it's just been shoot to kill for her. It was simple. A lot less complicated the more people fell thanks to her bullets. Traveling doesn't stop for her, and neither does the constant rush of adrenaline.

Maybe the end isn't as easy as they thought.
