War is brewing within the realms of Naeura.
With the estranged death of the royal family, the four nations that would see harmony under it's reign have begun to shift with unease and close themselves off from one another.

Violet Li Huang has become unhappy with her life. With the passing of her father and non-existent relationship with her mother, coping with the people around her has become exceedingly more difficult. With graduation just a few days away, she is in definite need of reprieve.
However, before this time comes to pass, Violet discovers something uniquely foreign, but strangely familiar.
A book.
A book that will lead to adventure but, literally and figuratively, get her into a whole new world of problems. Problems greater than she can even begin to comprehend, but will be forced to accept.
In this pursuit, she will be forced to confront many new people and glimpse things only talked about in legend and within the tales told to her as a child.
