Aaron, the last Lord of Falcon Claw and the last descendant of Shad, is dead. Or at least he is suppose to be dead, but instead he wakes in the Nether as a full Shadow Knight. He doesn't remember becoming a Shadow Knight. He is in a cage confused and lost.
Aphmau is lost without Aaron, but her friends help her get back up on her feet. What happens when she sees him again and he's a Shadow Knight.

If she had the chance to go back to that day, she'd take that chance and run for the hills while she still could. 19 year old Prince Aaron, wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. He didn't want to be watched over, he didn't want to be guarded, he just wanted to be left alone for once in his life. With his luck, that was impossible. He never wanted the crown. He was intelligent enough to rule and he acknowledged that but he always wished he could just be free of his binding curse.
