Read Between The Lies

Danica McKellar has lived through a lot. On her 7th birthday, her entire family, (mother, father, sister, and brother) all died in a tragic house fire. All her belongings, material and personal, were ravished in the flames. Not a week after being placed in the orphanage, a nice family of three, The Rogues, adopted her. Strange, considering the only girl they considered was sad, antisocial, and nearly mute Danica Rose. Her new family, including a gap-toothed, bowl-cut wearing boy, become close.
Then something happens, and she's without a family again. Now 18 and moving out of the orphanage, Danica has come across something that makes her think maybe her past isn't as simply sad as she once thought. She comes to find out that her life is no longer just a lonely sap-story full of abandonment, but a huge mess of tangled lies. Now she knows something she was never supposed to know. The government becomes the enemy and she has no idea who's on her side anymore. Now on the run with a handsome 'stranger' accompanying her, she has to run from the government, decode her past, and untangle the web of seemingly never-ending lies, before she turns out like her parents. But is innocence really bliss when your lover is hiding something himself? Can love untangle the lies? Or will his love turn out to be another lie that hurts her?
