Short Story I: The Test

We have lost our homes, our families, and our dignity. All because of some terrorists stricken with poverty who decided to destroy our village. And when we try to seek help from someone who offered it, we find that our lives are forever changed. Instead of helping us, he puts us through a test. We have to find a way out of a gasoline-filled house before we die. But I don't think that's the real test. I think that the real test is this: Finding reasons to keep fighting for our lives. This is a sneak peek into our story.
