I ran swiftly through the wasteland, my feet moved nimbly through the deserted land, but not quickly enough for the beast flew faster than my feet could carry me. "What is this supposed to be testing?" I yelled as I continued running not sure if I was going to run fast enough to avoid being scorched alive. "How fast can I run? How long I last without getting eaten?" The voice inside my head no longer answered, it was simply gone. I clenched my jaw and continued to run. It didn't matter what the river was testing now, the only thing that mattered was staying alive. Not far ahead there was a cliff dividing the land, destroying my hopes of survival. I let out a growl as I felt my body growing tired from exertion, from running aimlessly without a plan. The cliff grew nearer and so did the dragon. I had nothing left to lose except my life, and even that seemed like something I would gain instead of lose. I skidded to a halt a few meters from the cliff, my eyes focused on the giant dragon that descended from the skies and slowly made its way towards me. It reminded me of a giant crocodile- with wings. Its foul odor of burnt flesh and fire engulfed me as it stare into my eyes with its big round green eyes. I looked at it and saw numerous swords embedded in its tough scaly skin, the swords from the knights that perished under its presence. "You want to roast me?" I yelled as I took a step back toward the cliff. If I was going to die, I was going to die my way. "You want to grill me like a steak or do you prefer me roasted like a marshmallow on a stick?" I snarled allowing my fear and anger to take hold of me. The voice inside my head had abandoned me but its qualities had not. The beast growled and snapped its jaws at me, whatever it tried to say, it probably wasn't something I wanted to hear.

"This is a nightmare, it's only a nightmare..." I say to myself as I try to catch my breath while leaning against a tall pine tree. Only for a moment do I stay in that position until I hear a twig snap. I quickly leap away from the tree and run as fast as I can. "Wake up (Y/N)! just wake up!!!" I think to myself. "You are awake my dear..." I hear that voice. That damn voice. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" I scream. I continue to run past trees and hopping over large rocks. The mist in the air begins to get thicker as I continue this race. "Why me? out of all the people this had to happen to me!" my brain races with thoughts until my foot gets caught by a tree root sticking out of the ground. I fall hitting my head on a rock. My vision is blurry and I can feel a warm liquid begin to stream down my face. "My dear (Y/N), look what you have done to yourself. You shouldn't have tried to run away." the voice goes through my head again. I look around and see nothing but trees. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" My voice begins to grow sore from the constant running and yelling. The sound of leaves crunching comes from behind me and I whip my head around until my eyes are met with him. "My dear (Y/N), you've made quite the mess of yourself. You know you are not aloud to leave......now you'll have to be punished." The figure says without any facial expression or motion. The figure begins to walk forward towards me. I try to back away until my vision becomes black and all I can hear is static.
