Her father's either drinking or working, her mother's been gone ever since she can remember, and her only friends are her iPod, her sketchpad, and coloured pencils. So when Kala Lillith James comes along to help, will Alison be able to get out of the pit she's been in her whole life, or will love come at a deadly cost?
