Alex Germaine, short for Alexis, had just graduated from college and her parents surprised her with an extended trip to Europe. The plan was to travel across Europe from France to Italy stopping at wineries along the way. But something goes terribly wrong within the first week when Alexis goes missing during dinner in a small French town.
Now in captivity, Alexis is forced to confront her fears and learn to survive. The facility she is in wants to train her for things she never even thought were possible. Her independent and strong nature are the only things keeping her going, until she realizes one of her captors has a soft spot for her. But then so does another being that is also held captive. Who will she choose, or be forced to choose?
