When we are first born it is hard to tell what life we will have or what our future holds. Ever since I was born I've been different though no one may be able to tell from my outward appearance. I am neither completely woman nor am I man. All my life I've been referred to as it. Or at least that's what my mother called me. She herself has always despised me because I did not fit into her world of holiness. I am nothing more but a black splotch on the perfect image of what she had envisioned. Sometimes I ask myself...where do I fit in? Who am I? What am I? And where am I destined to be.
