Lilystep, daughter of Thistleclaw and Snowfur, has struggled for moons trying to avoid following in her father's dark pawsteps. With her best friend, Tigerclaw, by her side Lilystep is determined to be the best warrior she can be.
But things change when Bluestar decides to bring in an outsider, and train him in the ways of a Thuderclan warrior.
Now with the threat of Shadowclan looming above them, and concerns for Thunderclan's future growing, Lilystep will have to be brave to face the challenges that await her.
