A Bucky Barnes Fanfic
Sarah Rogers was born the same day and year as Steve Rogers, six years after she joins the army she gets sent out as a part of a secluded and secretive group to be their medic, the entire team is captured when things go wrong.
She is tortured until everything is forgotten to her, and once they're done they put her in a cryo-tube. But sometimes she does get sent out in the field. Enhanced to become a siren she is Hydra's deadliest weapon.
People see her as a myth, a
ghost, since all they can hear is the call of the siren before everything around them fades into nothing and the fate of their lives is determined by none other than the owner of the enchanting voice...

Not everything Hydra did had a specific purpose. Sometimes they tortured people and ruined lives just because they could. The kidnapping of Joana Kegley served no greater purpose than to help break in their newest experiment. Before her boyfriend went to war, Joana was a simple girl who helped her elderly grandmother run a clothing store. After her boyfriend went to war, she became something of a small town hero. A woman came to her personally to tell her that her boyfriend, Bucky Barnes, and her best friend, Steve Rogers, had both died bringing down Hydra. It wasn't long after that when she was plucked off the street like some stray cat and chained to a chair like a dog on a leash, where she learned that Bucky had endured something worse than death and that she was there to help them break him.
