Never Once A Paradise

After Layla's parents died when she was nine and her brother was three, she was left alone to take care of themselves. Luckily they were both taken in by a new family. The only thing was wrong with that, was the fact that they were extremely poor. Soon enough, Layla finds herself in a prison cell with no hope of anyone busting her out; that was until the person who owned the whole country took notice of her. What will become of her and her brother? And how would they survive in these cruel conditions?
