Aradeen, a small Viking village in Iceland known for producing some of the strongest hunters, is plagued with a disease that none of the medics know how to treat. Sylvia is determined to save her village and her own mother from the deadly epidemic. When a mysterious person comes into Aradeen preaching that a cure can be found in the dangerous island of Ivycove, the village is torn. Most of the villagers believe that it is a waste of hunters to go and look, but Sylvia feels that the cure must be found at all costs. Is there really a cure? Can Sylvia find it in time to save her loved ones and townspeople?

You have 3 main Viking tribes, The Bondevik tribe which is based on magic, but you also have the Køhler and Oxenstierna tribe, they are based on the strength of their men. The Køhler and the Bondevik tribe have an alliance which meant that the two soon to be tribe leaders are very close. Not far from the other two tribes is the Oxenstierna tribe. Berwald is the new leader of this tribe after his father became too old. The Oxenstierna tribe and the Køhler tribe have been enemies for as long as most can remember. Berwald's first plan is to drive Matthias [Denmark] and Lukas [Norway] away from each other so he can form an alliance with the Bondevik tribe and destroy the Køhler tribe.
