To say that Laura Roberts is 'normal' would be an understatement; she brings her favorite teddies, teddy number 21 and 43 to school everyday. Most teenagers her age would hang out, party, or shop after school, but Laura? She works. From Monday to Friday. On Saturday, when she isn't working, she volunteers at a pet shop. And for her, a regular Sunday consists of talking to her neighbours' dogs, while walking them at the park. Like I said, anything but normal. Xander Miller, the (clumsy) golden boy of Westlake School- a private school in California- has it all. What happens when he accidentally breaks something that the principal owns and comes to the principal's daughter, Serena, and pleads her not to tell? In this world, no request is free, right? Serena won't tell her mother. But only if Xander can transform Laura into prom queen, in two months. Will Xander be able to transform Laura without his feelings getting involved? What happens when people and feelings get in their way? Find out in 'Prom Queen'. © 2016 Sass_Queens ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. [ONGOING // PUBLISHED JUNE 9, 2016]

High school is the period of your life where you feel older and independent. It's also the time where you're restricted and forced into a slim expectation by standards and norms. High school is the last bit of youth you have before you are let loose into the sticky web of life. Within your last years of schooling, your habits and behaviors are what determine if you are a fly or a spider (at least that's what some people say). Clare Carter and her new group of friends are kicking off the school year in a powerful way as they battle new conflicts and the process of becoming high school students and young adults. Each character has their own unique story and background that will represent how they take each situation that comes up. They must tackle drama that takes place at school and home, as well as survive the activities that Freshman get to experience (homecoming, clubs, heartbreaks/relationships, the stress of doing well in school and figuring out a plan after they graduate). This group of friends are scheduled for a wave of realization if they think they'll stick together throughout all four years of high school. This story is created with my OCs that I have fun drawing. This is not an attempt to be a grand author or writer. I am merely using this opportunity as experience for fleshing out my characters and their personalities and backgrounds. The maturity setting was set to ON because any mentions of depression, suicidality, anxiety, sexuality, etc.. were placed under the mature label. This statement serves as a trigger warning that the topics/themes mentioned above ARE present in this story.
