You have probably read a lot of rejection stories. Stories about rejection, abuse and broken-heart. They are so many stories about a wolf, mostly female, rejected by her pack, family, mate, all in that order. Unable to take the abuse, heartache and the humiliation she/he runs away to later return stronger, powerful and beta/alpha of a powerful pack. So not this story.
So what makes this story so different?

Well let's start with the similarities;
1. She is abused.
2. Runs away.
3. Joins a new pack.
4. She must return to where all the abuse started.

Now let's start with the differences;
5. She does not return physically stronger or a badass assassin.
6. She remains an omega. A Queen omega.
7. She is crucial to the restoration of the werewolf balance between man and beast.
8. She has absolutely no interest in doing so.

For centuries, the whispers of the history of wolves have been passed down from mouth to mouth. Wolves, alpha and omega, dominating and submissive lived together in a perfect balance. Then as years passed, the secrets were ignored and forgotten. The omegas started to become detestable in the eyes of the more physical powerful wolves.

After an omega gave up the secrets of his pack to hunters after being under intense torture an intense infanticide and genocide began. Enslaving and killing all wolves deemed weak, disturbing the balance. The physically powerful wolves have no doubt become stronger and powerful, but it comes at great price. They are slowly losing their minds and their internal peace.

Now 2/3 of the werewolf population desperately need the help of the queen called Cel Blând. Romanian for The Gentle One. That would be relatively easy except that the Gentle One and her pack have absolutely no intention of aiding the people who have tortured and enslaved and killed so many of their kind simply for being thought of as "weak".
