The girl, or gregori, suddenly yelled in panic, "He took it!!! He took my wings!!! He's going to start it!!!!" She went and threw herself at Mike in panic, causing Uriel to nearly dislodge his flames at her if it weren't for Mike's glare to stand our ground down. Reincarnation. That word actually sucks more than I could describe. When you're related to the Angel Five, expect tons of being babied until you remember every detail and unleash your abilities. Sounds easy, right? Sadly, not everything goes into plan. When a demon claims to have a bond with you as some angels slowly lose their lives, things can get really icky, especially when one dark male seems to know more than he let on. While watching the movie and reading the books, a YouTube video discussing how plot twists and different character arcs could have improved the movie sparked some scenes and debates among us in the book club. So my friend and I decided to rewrite the movie with some better plot twists. This was thought of in a car after escaping an awkward dinner. Fair warning, we lost some brain cells along the way and jumped off the diving board and lost the plot. This book is an adventure that made me cry and throw my phone. Enjoy. "You are a monster, Cam," I rasped, my voice thick with loathing. The truth of it vibrated in my bones. "Perhaps," he'd conceded, a chilling smile touching his lips. "But at least I'm an honest one. And I'm willing to do what's necessary." Luce, a faint, almost imperceptible scoff escaping me. "Gabby?" I repeated, as if the idea was ludicrous. "Gabby and I aren't together. Never have been." Luce stared at me, stunned. "But... I saw her kiss you." I merely shrugged, a hint of something cynical in my eyes. "People do stupid things at parties. Doesn't mean anything." "Quite a show, Price," he said, his voice low, almost a purr. "Lucky you had Daniel to catch you, huh?" The subtle emphasis on 'Daniel' was not lost on Luce.
