I was walking. I was walking alone. It was my grand-mother's amulet she passed down to me that found this place- otherwise I'd have had no idea. I try to visit it as often as I can but with school I'm afraid that isn't possible everyday; when I do come here though I feel me, I feel comfortable- it's not as easy at home to feel comfortable, especially with errands and duties. If I lived here in this stress-free world, I'd be living the dream. Trust me, it's better than living as a princess in a castle that's far too big. No-one believed me at first when I said to them I found a new world, they all laughed (I imagined they would) except for one person as you would've guessed. My grand-mother. Ecstatically, she came and followed me to this place full of magic and plot twists around the corner but, it's like any fairy-tale, there's always at least one plot twist except, in my fairy-tale, there is none other than the fact that I have school and can't always relax. Ugh! Princess life just isn't the life for me.

I've never believed in fairytales, superstitions or fears of fantasy worlds. It's the year 1871, and yet people still believe in such idiotic stories. My job as a stoker on this ship is just so I can get some money to live on, but when the ship goes down and I'm rescued in a submarine, I'm forced to help an ambitious Jenny Playfair, a woman obsessed with finding the lost city of Atlantis.
