Winning multiple 'Angel of the Year' awards and never missing a moment to brag. And he was definitely not surprised when he received the biggest job yet. Bringing down the great demon of chaos who had been causing God some trouble lately.

That was until he met her.

Vixen was not one to be messed with. Bringing down God's children one by one was a favourite past time of hers. She was the demon of chaos, one of the most feared of her brethren. Not to mention she was pretty close to the devil himself. Making her a bad target if you didn't want to mess with him. Ruthless, sarcastic and persuasive were some of her best qualities and she's not one to let them go to waste.

Angels weren't supposed to be birthed through the human race. It was a complete mistake that Zamora, or Emma as they call her on Earth, was there. It was necessary that she be brought back to heaven, for Zamora was meant to be a righteous ruler alongside the secondary queen angel, a huge step down from God himself. The girl, now a teenager, would be brought and married to Michael. He was a noble prince, an ideal suitor for her. That very angel would be the one to bring Emma back to heaven but he had to do so before her age strikes twenty. The only way for Zamora to come back would to be through an angel or demon, but there were none present on Earth. Michael homeland where she belongs. It's only when Lucifer's servant is sent to bring the princess to hell, falls obsessively for her when the true problem occurs.

The Devil himself. At least, that's what they say. There's a lot said about the Devil-so much, in fact, that it makes you wonder: what's the Devil's own side of the story? They say the Devil is a he... a monstrous beast, a fallen angel, or a shadow lurking in the dark. They say he tempts, corrupts, destroys-always with a grin and a deal too good to refuse. Kids grow up hearing that he's the whisperer of sins, the snake in every garden. He's cruel, calculating, and definitely not to be trusted. Books and movies paint him as charming, impossibly handsome, and so dangerously tempting that you'd risk kissing your way straight to Hell. Some who consider themselves learned will tell you none of this is true-that angels, fallen or otherwise, are pure spirits, without bodies, without sex But what if they're wrong? What if the Devil is a woman- a darkly exquisite femme fatales, who's been quietly fuming for centuries about how we keep getting her story wrong? What if we are considered sinners for butchering her story and turning her into some horned caricature of evil. Forget the horns, the pitchfork, and the outdated clichés. Because the devil might just as well be a woman.
