Lyla Jatch is the typical 17 year old girl. She had a great family, and was an only child. She was popular and had great friends. But everything starts to crumble when her parents get a divorce. Her father had been cheating on her mom for 2 years. When the divorce is set, Lyla and her mom are forced to follow her moms work and travel to California from Florida. When Lyla gets to California, everything looks good. The house is huge, her room has its own walk in closet and connected bathroom. Lyla and her mom get invited to the neighbors, or the Westfall's for dinner. That is when things start to go down hill. Lyla meets the school's bad boy/player, Roy Westfall. Roy is used to girls falling at his feet, but that's not Lyla. Lyla thought dating in high school was stupid. She never saw the point in getting your heart broken of some school crush that won't go past 12th grade. But will Lyla start to gain feelings for Roy when they start to be around each other more?
