"I can" "Good, what about laundry and cleaning?" I nodded. "Fuck Angel, you're like the perfect woman and you still want me to be your friend" He joked and found myself laughing. "Because I am the perfect housewife?" I asked arching an eyebrow. "No, because you are the perfect combination of smart, beautiful, and skillful." I blushed at that and I wanted to look away but one of his hands stopped me and turned my face towards him. "Get used to hearing compliments because you're going to hear them often in the future. Now, about my offer..." He gave me an expectant look. I thought for a while. I still wasn't sure it was a good idea but I liked working at the shop and still wanted to work there for a little while. "Alright, let's do it," I said. "Now? Here? Damn Angel, first the fiancé thing, and now this. For someone inexperienced, you sure move fast" He joked and I laughed. *Warning ⚠️* Strong language, triggering topics such as body shaming, depression...
The Unfinished Book✔️ by Melody_Alyward

One typical day I read a random book just to pass my time. 'Contract marriage with an attractive stranger? How does the legendary hero constantly appear when the helpless girl is in trouble? Is he waiting at the side for the precise moment to appear? And there are so many missing plots and elaborate descriptions. It's problematic to figure out from which era this book is because it's confusing. This is just so stupid,' I instantly thought before promptly shutting the book and placing it back. Seldom did I know, that night when I would go to sleep, I would wake up as the protagonist of that same book and it wasn't a dream. As the events of the story unfolds, I decided that I will not follow the plot. It's time to become a self-made women that works hard by herself. However I soon find out that perhaps I'm not the only one stuck in this book? And I don't know how the book ends so what will happen to me? Story about a girl who struggles to survive economically after losing her family and then ends up becoming the female lead of the book. She ends up falling in love with a guy who turns out to be trapped in the book as well. And they are not the only ones stuck in the book. Will they find a way to get out or stay trapped in the novel? Ride the Waves (Author's Edit) by BlvckDivmond

(I've decided to edit and re-publish one of my most successful books here on this platform, now as a mature writer. Ride the Waves is a book I began writing at 17 years old-now 10 years later it has amassed many fans and many reads. Also in the space of 10 years, I have grown a lot as a person and as a literary writer and decided to re-write my most famous book. Obviously the original Ride the Waves has my heart-that's my baby!-but looking at it now, from a mature lens, I could really do the story more justice by reimagining it. This is exactly what this is. Ride the Waves: author's edit. Same story line, same loved characters, but better writing. Hope you enjoy) Blurb: Ride the waves; It's a surfing term. Surfers paddle out to catch waves. They wait for a really good, high, strong wave, then they surf it into shore. When you ride a wave, it's not your power propelling you, it's the strength of the natural phenomenon. So to ride a wave metaphorically is to go with something already happening. For seventeen-year-old Nina, surviving has never felt like riding a wave. After losing her best friend and nearly losing herself, she's just trying to stay afloat. As she navigates the turbulent waters of grief, first love, and senior year, Nina begins to find her rhythm again. But some waves carry secrets beneath their surface. And when the truth finally crashes over her, everything she thought she knew will be swept away.

23 parts Complete

I am now in the editing stages of this book but the content is complete. This book is book one of a trilogy and the next book I will begin posting after I get through edits in Broken. ( very soon!) Thank you for all the support and love! Warning: Mature content. Mild Sexual scenes identified in chapter intros. Very light and Mild Violence (street fighting/boxing). Strong language (cursing In all chapters). Tagged for mature audience, but within the guidelines of not having to mark the book as for mature audiences. Authors Note: There were times when I wrote this book like one would read, a GOOD read, addicted. It would be mid day, still in my sweats, coffee brewing, and I would be feverishly turning out pages. Days consumed with passion and then there were days my characters were silent. There were days unfortunately that I questioned every page and at times I wanted to scrap the whole thing. On those days, I sought out my favorite place in the world, the woods. There in nature, I would find my way back to all the words that completed this book. It has been a journey, one that I have come to cherish.
