Molly Hooper has always enjoyed the smell of coffee in the morning. She has always loved curling up with a new book. So her job at a small family-owned café was a dream come true; patrons could come and select a drink from the menu, grab a book from one of the shelves, and curl up in one of the big chairs or recline at a table to read. It was a quiet reprieve from the bustling world outside that was London. Then there was him. He showed up one day: coffee, two sugars. He'd kept coming ever since. Molly wasn't sure what to think of it. She just knew that when she saw that head of black curls she was to make up that coffee she'd learned to remember - black, two sugars - and deliver it to the same corner table every Thursday. Where he sat and stared at the world outside, thinking whatever it is people like him think. Sherlock Holmes - Consulting Detective - was the only bit of mystery in Molly's life that she was happy to keep. But then he needed solving. (Cover by: @haleyzink)
