This story is based on one of the Harris Burdick pictures, Mr. Linden's Library. I would like to give credit to Harris Burdick, however, he did not the right the story. This story is an original and I would appreciate it if you wouldn't copy it. The fairytale element in this book is a magic object which you will soon learn.

This story begins on the first day of summer, in a small town called Winter Falls. A beautiful and careless sixteen year old girl, with long brown hair that's always pulled back into a sporty ponytail, has something dangerous fall into her hands and she doesn't even know. Fortunately, she isn't alone. A tall and smart sixteen year old boy with blond hair and a sweatshirt is there to help her.
