Both Karakura and the Soul Society live peacefully and quietly until, during a binge party to celebrate the two months of peace organized by the commander captain Shunsui Kyoraku, this one had a wonderful idea: gather some of the strongest Soul Reapers and make them participate in a 32 fighting tournament. Hitsugaya is in charge to notifying about the tournament to Ichigo and Rukia who are currently living in a rented apartment.
