In the flourishing country of Revéille, magic is the fear of legends old. Any and all forms of magic has been outlawed, not that the belief is widespread in the first place, because what crackpot monarch thought that magic was real?

Whilst many believe it to be a superstition, it is still the biggest taboo to commit on Revéillean soil. That has never stopped the queen, stark raving mad, from enjoying it. The most powerful woman in the country loving the most forsaken act of mankind- an undoubtedly chaotic pair, no? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The people are disgruntled by this and small rebellions have sparked all across her nation. Having no choice but to relinquish her throne, she decides that she's going out with a bang. And so the law passed that only those with magic in their veins can dally with royalty, and those with it could come try for the hand of the heir and her only son. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Worlds. It's something that no one questions, where they're from, that is. They all think that they are all from earth, but Kila knows better. In her dreams Kila sees other worlds and people living their lives. Lives that she, herself could be living; last night she dreamt of a world not far away. On the world of Enthrum, in the kingdom of Sathreph; war is waging over the metal stones; that fit in the palm of your hand, they have symbols on them that represent different spirits, gods, and guardians. If the stone allows you to know its name and it is spoken aloud, then you are able to summon it as a friend. The stones can see deep into your heart and understand what you are thinking; they can tell darkness from light and will only obey you if they take a liking to you. Many people of this world are going to war over the stones and are using them to fight. If the fighting does not stop the world will come to an end, along with it a chain of events that will affect other worlds causing mass destruction.Complete

For the fae, magic is everything: status, power, wealth, honor. For Vera Reite, a fae born with no magic, it is a shameful reminder that she will never amount to anything. Whispers of a fae-killing monster begin to circulate the Moon Court. It lurks in the woods, feeding off the mana of its victims. Those that go missing and find themselves at the mercy of the beast are never seen or heard from again.
