Kuro Akira's life had always been hard. On the outside, her and her parents looked like the picture perfect family, but on the inside it was different. They carried a heavy burden, a dark secret, that lead to their deaths one night. Kuro survived and because of their secret, she was sold on the black market. For five years she was passed around and around, beat into submission, her body used for others pleasure. Her once happy life, carefree personality, and bright life had been stomped out and yanked from her grasp. She was kept in the darkness, quite literally and figuratively. She hadn't seen the light of day for five years, except for a few glimps of it while being transported. Five years of this, until one day, she finally sees the light again. She sees people, family, she never thought she would ever see again. She takes her place back in HOMRA and uses her connections to try to find who hurt her and her family. All while trying to rekindle past relationships and make things right with a few people.
