Madeline Evans is, what, seventeen? No, she hasn't got her life all figured out yet and no, she doesn't really have the motivation to do so. Her mother, bless her soul, is about as devout as a person can get, but Maddie isn't exactly thrilled to run around evangelizing for her.

News comes around to the Evans that there's two new families ready to plop into Peoria -- the McAllisters and the Rao-Wozniaks -- and Mrs Evans is eager to push Madeline into their laps.

Scandal shrouds the McAllisters, who have gotten money from a lawsuit and a claim that Laszlo, hunky high school feller, is the illegimate son of a billionaire. The Rao-Wozniaks are the more obscure family -- with a daughter, Peony-Georgia, who doesn't mind going commando in public and a brother, Krish, who's skilled in astral projecting.

Navigation of high school is accompanied by Winnie, the boy-crazy socialite, and Dakota, the cynical Chinese-medicine expert. It may be possible that Maddie finds love It also may be possible they will just spend time eating copious amounts of ice cream whilst pining over fictional characters. Whatever the case, this is a love story that is beyond cliches.

"No, dearest." Sebastian smiled revealing a set of perfectly white teeth. "I am quite real. Care to have a touch?" His eyebrows went up emphatically. Madeline let out a breath she'd been holding for quite some time. She took two careful steps toward him, reaching out and poking his forearm with her index finger. He was warm, deliciously so. "Not exactly what I had in mind but whatever works for you, sweetheart." Sebastian shrugged playfully. Madeline moved further away, her eyebrows in knots above her puffy eyes. "So where are we sleeping?" "We?" She stuttered. What was going on? Her mind was full of overwhelming questions. Had she finally fallen off the deep end? Sure, she had been super sad, more down than she remembered being in a very long time, but she didn't think she had pushed herself to the extreme of hallucinating. "Yes, we." Sebastian was standing then. His height was impressive. She stumbled back with his nearness. He laughed, shaking his head. He really did find her to be quite amusing. Her nervousness made her all the more interesting. "Did you not miss me, Madsy?" Sebastian teased. "Because I most definitely missed you." Madeline Hunter is abandoned after graduation by her best and only friend Nolan Sinclair. Upon his leaving, her mind is flooded with visions from her past. With no one left to distract her from the miserable memories, she is visited by an old, slightly invisible friend that she hadn't thought about in years. Sebastian Bear is no longer the little boy she went on adventures with as a child. He has grown up and is eager to show her how much. Cover design by Lindsfrantz !

Madeline found the note in her locker. Neatly folded, it held a pair of razor blades and a set of instructions. "Just die, ugly girl. No one will miss you." She doesn't know who gave it to her. Or any of the others before it. But she knows one thing: they're right. No one will miss her. Her mother is dead, her dad is more a theory than a parental figure, and her friends are the stick figures she draws in her notebooks. So, when someone she barely knows invites her to the school graduation party, there's no reason for her to go. A girl like her at a party like that? Eating a bowl of live spiders would be a better idea. And yet, she accepts. She goes. She doesn't know what she expects to find there. She doesn't even know why she said yes. Out of desperation? Because she thinks she'll somehow make friends? Prove, somehow, that the razor note is wrong? Whatever her reasons, what she finds is a surprise. And not the one she wants. She's given one more note. And what's written inside this one will make her face the truth she's been hiding from for seven years. And the truth about Madeline Parker will either fix her, and finally make her worthy of being loved, or it will prove that the note with the razors is right. Or both. -- Complete and professionally edited. Also on sale (www.lifelostandfound.com) where 150% of all sales go to charity, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Especially that last one, because it's used once or twice and you may experience a reaction. Also, you should probably see a doctor about that. 🌸 So far, so good. Despite everything, Madeline's still standing, still living - though her life has been upended more than once. Moving from America to England wasn't exactly easy but oddly enough, the return was much simpler. With little more than the bare minimum from her parents, and diabetes always complicating things, she had to rely on her brother for real help. Now, as she steps back into Nashville, she wonders how this might realign her path. Somehow, everything feels like it's falling into place. She's exactly where she needs to be - though there's one complication : a boy. Something she didn't planned at all. And maybe he's part of the plan, too. Maybe for the better. 🏒 Hockey has always been one of Jude's greatest loves, ever since he can remember. And to be blunt, he's damn good at it. But don't mistake him for the typical player type you read about in books. He doesn't have girls lining up outside his door, and when there is someone, he treats her right - once, and only once. It's a rule he set for himself. He met his best friend Colin during a hockey game, both rooting for opposite teams. Colin was on the wrong side, of course, but somehow, they became inseparable. Colin has diabetes, so over time, he learned how to help. What he didn't expect was for that knowledge to help him with a girl. A girl more complicated than any genetic disease. But maybe that's a challenge worth taking. ° ° ° Welcome to this new book. Please don't forget to vote, comment and share ❤️

An ex-couples rivalry for the spot as student body president becomes even more convoluted when two new, unexpected candidates enter the race. Chloe and Preston team up, each vowing to get one member kicked from the competition-- but when they both end up helping their victims to spite each other, the campaign gets a lot more complicated. * * * * * Chloe Peters is determined to solidify her most-popular-girl-in-school status with the label of student body president, so she's furious when three other candidates enter the race. Now, she's competing against her ex-boyfriend Preston McMillan, some nobody named Emily, and the school's notorious troublemaker, Finn Harrel. If it means saving her pride and not letting Preston get the best of her, she'd do just about anything-- even help out Finn, who despite his good looks, gets on her last nerve with his lackadaisical attitude and class-clown antics. Preston McMillan just wants a distraction from the fact that his wrestling team is about to be disbanded. When he signs up for the presidential race, he doesn't expect Chloe to go berserk, nor does he expect to meet Emily, a quiet, stony girl he can't believe he's never noticed before. After deciding to help with her campaign, he's got plenty of distractions-- enough to make him wonder what really matters, and enough to make his friends question where his loyalties lie. One thing's for sure: suddenly, this race is about a lot more than student government. 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃 (𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝) - 𝟑/𝟖/𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃 (𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬) - 𝟏𝟎/𝟏𝟓/𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃 (𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬)- 𝟖/𝟐𝟒/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎
