Mackenzie Elliot has been dancing since she was 2. So when she started at a new studio she thought that she would be able to fit in. Instead she found five new dancers that she doesn't get along with. Chloe Duncan, who thinks she rules the world, especially dance studio, Hailey Abbott and Ellie Coleman, who don't know which way to go and two boys, Carson Reed and Skylar Dean, who are head over heels in love with the same girl.

These are all things that Mackenzie that doesn't want to deal with. Then with a friend group that is splitting apart the school year is not going to easy.
