. After being bit by multiple genetically-altered spiders, high school student Petra Parker finds that she can now shoot webs from her wrists, lift more than 20 tons, and cling to any surface like a spider. Petra soon discovers that she indirectly caused the death of her Uncle Ben and she vows to use her powers to fight crime. Taking the name Spider-Girl, Petra fights assorted super-villains while balancing high school, her personal life, and an editor at the Daily Bugle who has convinced himself Spider-Girl is a criminal that needs to be brought down. ~~~ Comment if you like my book cover!
