The rise of the Haemgang has destroyed nearly 89% of the surface dwellers' territory, while only approximately 1,500,000 humans remain on the surface of the Earth. Vanguards, genetically enhanced humans are now trained to combat the uprising of these creatures, wielding weapons that are able to harm the creatures. Will humanity prevail once again, or will they truly perish in this event?

The end is nigh. As humanity braces for the impact of the apocalypse, an organization emerges with the goal of defending humanity against the emergence of the Haemgang. From the point of view of the strongest Vanguard to have ever walked the Earth - Osiris Fenrir, witness the countdown and the first ever Human vs Haemgang battle recording in the history of mankind.
