The rise of the Haemgang has destroyed nearly 89% of the surface dwellers' territory, while only approximately 1,500,000 humans remain on the surface of the Earth. Vanguards, genetically enhanced humans are now trained to combat the uprising of these creatures, wielding weapons that are able to harm the creatures. Will humanity prevail once again, or will they truly perish in this event?

From the point of view of the strongest Vanguard to have ever walked the Earth - Osiris Fenrir, witness the countdown and the first ever Human vs Haemgang battle recording in the history of mankind.

Year 2095. Yggdrasil Corp.'s technology has been further enhanced to combat the rise of the once subterranean Haemgang. Syris Fenrir, a strong Vanguard with the blood of the late Osiris Fenrir and Haruna Mitsuki, has been chosen to lead the up and coming elites among the Vanguards, the Elite Combat Squad, abbreviated as "ECS". Follow the 18-year-old as he develops further as a Vanguard while preparing to face a returning major threat.

Having gone through an environmental cataclysm, planet earth has deteriorated into a vast wilderness inhabiting the aftermath of the war that pulverized populations. The remainder of humanity's strongest reside in the protection of Strongholds, where clusters of cities strive within massive walls that separate the remaining humans from the man-eating monsters that nearly sent them into extinction. In this time, humanity's strongest are sent out to take back their fallen planet, but when the walls fall, all bets are placed on the outside and the unknown forces that reside in the supposed uninhabitable. Or Aspen Valet had been anticipating for the day she'd turn 18 and the Council would float her for her crimes, only to find herself aboard a dropship with 99 other delinquents heading towards Earth. Tensions run high, trust is scarce, and survival is far from guaranteed. They now populate a mega sized space station which dwells over Earths atmospheric line, separating The soil, from the stars above. The Ark is dying. Oxygen is beginning to dwindle away, leaving the men and women on The Ark airless, and frightened. There is only one option that is not half as fatal as the rest, return to Earth. One hundred juvenile delinquents will be fired to Earth, with the hopes of mankind resting on the're backs. Will they survive? or will they perish from radiation exposure. Liars will Lie.
