Alyssa rogers lives in a place called STAID, a refugee camp for survivors of the break out. Its been 26 months since the first person on earth became infected. The disease spread like wild fire across a dry woodland forest. In mere weeks the most of the human population was wiped out... Or so we thought. STAID is one of the last refugee camps still remaining. But the day they decide to let in a newcomer with a dry attitude, everything changes.
