Kristine was having a perfect day- that perfect day being the fact that her foster parents burnt down their house in a fight against some other being created by some magical creature. She was running away from them when she gets attacked by a not-so-normal gang, leading her to meet Kalf, a woman from another universe sent to protect her.
Kristine gets dragged into a war that Kalf just happens to be a part of which brings them on extraordinary adventures where they discover just how screwed some dimensions can be.
