"Please don't leave me alone," Leo spoke. His voice was low and hushed in an unsettling way. My breath hitched in my throat as a shiver passed through my body, causing goosebumps to arise. I met his watery blue gaze with my own. He rolled his lips into his mouth and drew an inward breath. Repeating himself once more he pleaded, "Please don't leave me alone." ➳ ➳ ➳ 17-year-old Scarlett Elizabeth Pierce's life is altered by the arrival of a thin, striking young man by the name of Leonidas. He's tall, skinny, pale, and behaves differently than anyone Scarlett has ever known. Intrigued, she tries her hardest to figure him out. While doing so, she manages to make a mess of her own life as well as Leonidas's.

She felt that she needed something, desperately. She just didn't know what. But, most horrifying of all, she didn't have a reflection. No matter what mirror she looked into, nothing looked back at her. At first she thought she was going crazy, until one day when she awoke to a gorgeous stranger casually sitting on her couch, saying his name was Adam Grayson, and that he could help her.
