"Please don't leave me alone," Leo spoke. His voice was low and hushed in an unsettling way. My breath hitched in my throat as a shiver passed through my body, causing goosebumps to arise. I met his watery blue gaze with my own. He rolled his lips into his mouth and drew an inward breath. Repeating himself once more he pleaded, "Please don't leave me alone." ➳ ➳ ➳ 17-year-old Scarlett Elizabeth Pierce's life is altered by the arrival of a thin, striking young man by the name of Leonidas.
