This is the story of a seemingly simple virtual reality videogame. As far as you and 14 thousand other people are concerned, it's a free videogame trial that was randomly sent you as said by news reporters and various emails. This was delivered directly to your doorstep just recently. It's just one videogame case with the words "THE GAME" in all caps on the case. Next to the case is a box that reads "Special Gaming Gear." Or so the box has written in fresh permanent marker on it . You take this box and game inside of your living area. Now there's a main question that makes sense to ask here. Do you want to play this game?

[I do not own any Cyberpunk 2077 or Cyberpunk Edgerunner assets, this is merely fanfiction based on both series.]
Life Is Fun
Life, the most realistic, in-depth, virtual reality game on the market. The game lets people go into the video game and do a plethora of things. For example, survival games. On the 10th anniversary of the game, Doctor studios, the company that made the game, decided to host an event. Across the world, tournaments will be held, to see who can survive the longest in their game. Being given 100 days, a hundred players per tournament must survive. The rework for doing so is 100000 dollars and the opportunity to play in the bigger tournaments and win more money. But that 100000 dollars will be divided amongst the survivors, which meant that players would be battling amongst themselves to get the money for themselves. In one of these tournaments, was a boy who lived in a small town. After arguing with his friends, the boy ends up competing for solo without them. He soon finds himself as the most wanted person on that server. Will he survive on his own? Or will the multitude of small teams crush him? Find out in... "Life Is Fun". Being constantly compared to ones brother can make one feel neglected. This is the case for Kai Walker. His brother was the star of the schools soccer team as well as the star of the basketball team. Everyone adored him and held him on a very high pedestal. This includes his own parents. For all of his sixteen years he has been constantly compared to his brother whether at home or at school. The most common phrase he hears is, 'Why can't you be more like your brother?' He made it through the years due to his only friend. A female childhood friend of both his and his brother, Amy Halland. I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?"
