"Welcome to The Glade, Greenie" Newt says in his much-loved-heavy English accent.
I turn around in a circle, observing my surroundings. Or new home, I think. This was nothing like the Glade I read about or saw in the movie. Nothing at all.

Imagine what it would be like when you wake up one morning somewhere not your bed. Something that'll take you to the place you read about in a book and dreamed to go, but knew you couldn't.
Imagine once reading and go crazy about The Maze Runner and ending up in the Box one day, with almost all of your memories. Imagine ending up in a Glade which was beyond different from anyone's imagination. Imagine meeting a slutty Newt. Imagine a Glade which was as bad as high school-or worse.
Imagine being in Brianna's place.

[EDIT 1] My work is currently undergoing some revisions. I wrote this 5 years ago, and needless to say, some of the dialogue, scenes, wording, and overall feel is quite childish. Not all of it, but some of it. I've decided to revisit my original first story and make it better. The story is definitely much more mature now, and I think everyone will enjoy it better now that the tone has changed to fit the melancholy nature of my story. Thanks in advance. Thomas gets a chance at redemption when he is offered a seemingly impossible task: plant an idea in someone's mind. "Gally would happily filet me if I did." I joked. He laughed but didn't seem fully at ease. "No. I don't have a thing for her, she's a friend." He nodded, with a silent radiant of pleasure. I broke and asked him about her, "Is it really history? I mean... ever since I noticed you two together now I can't stop noticing it. She walks into a room and I feel like I have to remind you to breathe." He pulled a chair over and straddling the back of it. "You know when you're running through the maze and you're almost finished, you can see the glade and you have all this built up adrenaline? You're sore, tired, sweaty but you still feel the last bit of energy to get you home? That's what I feel whenever I'm around her. It's like every nerve in my body wants to wrap around her but I also teetering on the verge danger that would come with that." To say that the Gladers were extremely confused once they realized who was sent up in the lift this time, was a complete exaggeration. The gladers disregarded any suspicions with your arrival, as they thought you were just another mouth to feed. After all, YOU were only the 2nd girl to be delivered into the Glade. Much like everyone else, you were just as confused and lost. With no memory before waking up in that box, the only clue to all this chaos was a vague writing in your arm, no knowledge who wrote it and what it exactly meant.
