Original short story telling. W A R N I N G : Graphic Descriptions, Disturbing Content, Possibly Triggering. A young man move of of the state from a small town to attend college in order to pursue his dream to be a photojournalist. Renting an old apartment, he was given a key to a room that was not intended to be given to a customer. Without a second thought, he takes the key and keeps the room he was given which will lead to one mistake that will affect his experience of having a new life. A price will be paid. 213.

'You should write a story about that.' It's a line that writers hear a lot, a bit like comedians in a bar being told. 'Here's a joke for you.' Best to smile politely and change the subject or get a round in. There are occasions when I didn't do either, and there will be occasions I don't do that in the future. These stories are and will be the result. I also include the background to the story for the curious but I'll keep the identities secret. I don't want you chasing them down in search of ideas for your next novel. :) The Daylight Room: A very young boy understands that what he did was wrong. What he doesn't understand is that the punishment is much, much wronger.
