Beneath The Surface - Shattered Hulls And Broken Lines

3 parts Ongoing

| 2260 | The USS Enterprise has embarked on its historic five-year mission, but for Junior Lieutenant Norrie Akins, space isn't the great unknown - it's just another battlefield. As an engineer with a past she refuses to talk about, Norrie is used to fixing things under pressure. But some fractures run too deep, and not all of them can be patched with reinforced plating. Between clashes with her superiors, a past that won't stay buried, and the ever-present dangers of deep space, Norrie soon learns that the greatest threat to her survival might not be an external enemy - but herself. And the Enterprise? Well, she's held together by more than just hull plating. She's held together by her crew. And Leonard McCoy - gruff, sharp-tongued, and far to perceptive for her linking - might just be the one to remind her that she's part of that crew, whether she's ready to admit it or not. ___________________________________________ set after [Star Trek Into Darkness] an enemies to lover fanfic [Leonard McCoy x OC] updates ~ sunday
