She has lived her whole life in the darkest dungeon Hogwarts has to offer, until shortly after her thirteenth birthday, she is released from her prison. Placed in the world for the first time she can remember, she must adjust, and learn to live and be happy. But she is still terrified of going back to the dark, and her fear is preventing her from stepping through the door...

(Also this is kind of an AU. I kept Sirius, Remus, Tonks and Fred alive because I'm too weak to handle their deaths. I left everyone else dead, which took a lot of self control. So please don't leave comments saying 'Oh, this character is supposed to be dead.')
