14 year old Lydia Blanchert was a homeless girl who walked the roads of England in 1812 in search of work and a place to stay. All of this changes though when she goes to London for an auction where she hopes to find work somehow. She knew many people of all social ranks would be there to gaze upon the items. She hoped to see if one of them would hire her as a housekeeper or maid. Then she meets a woman. She was kind enough to walk Lydia to an Inn, kind enough to let her stay with her and her family, and kind enough to befriend her. Lydia meets Benjamin. The son of the kind woman and the boy who Lydia can't help but loath. He's cocky, arrogant, and proud. Something someone as humble and modest as Lydia cannot stand. Until they find that they have much in common and things begin to happen. Maybe Ben isn't who Lydia thought he was, or maybe everything he's done and said was a lie...All Rights Reserved
