The death of a loved one has everyone broken, but not broken enough. There are still Mogadorians to kill, secrets to be told, betrayals, surprises, and enough anger and sadness to go around. 

John Smith and Percy Jackson will have to unite their groups to kill the rest of the remaining Mogs. Percy and the demigods have completed their quest; Mother Nature is asleep once again, but that's not stopping the Mogadorian leader, Setrákus Ra, from attempting to destroy the world and take it as his own. Now more powerful as ever, the two groups combined will stop at nothing to stop the world from being destroyed, and they will certainly stop at nothing to defend the one that was killed.

Everyone will learn about each other and everyone will learn how to work together, cause if they don't, they'll fall with the rest of the world.

The war with Gaea is over, and life as a demigod is finally as peaceful as it can get. Percy is now 18, and he is living with his mother. He goes to Camp Half Blood every day to train the newer campers. On the day of a peace summit with Camp Jupiter, the camp is destroyed and Percy's parents are killed. All the demigods in America in either of the camps are dead, except for Nico, Will, a new camper named Kaylie, Reyna... and Percy. But Percy is not the same. He is darker, harsher, more angry and powerful. His fury and sorrow at almost all of his friends and families' deaths is what fuels him now.
