Sixteen year old Alex Bauer is a highschool student who isn't too sure of herself. Her father Martin Bauer is the Cheif of the New York Police Department and his job hasn't won her very many friends. Alex is a girl who is so curious and wants to keep finding out everything and about everyone. Her mother died when she was just five years old and she has been wondering what happened to her ever since.
Alex discovers secrets about her father that she would have never even imagined would be there. Will she get through the day? or will she be buried in the secrets that have been haunting her father for all these years?
