This is a fan fiction of Inheritance, but doesn't start right at the beginning of the book so bear with me on that. This girl, Alexandra, literally gets sucked into the story, or rather, into the world of Alagaesia itself. She wakes in the middle of the Varden with modern clothes, her horse from home, and her ipod, but that's not all...destined to become a rider herself, she has the strength and grace of an elf, magnified even more by years of ballet, an awesome but horrific control over the elements and not surprisingly...Eragon's heart.

This is a rewrite of my old story, Battle Scars. There will be a few plot changes but nothing too major. ---------------------------- The Alryne tribe was known to be a very power-hungry group of Vikings, however they have remained quiet for generations. Now the tribe has faded into legend. However, their current leader, Brendan the Battle Winner, has found the location of the King of Dragons. And he wants it for himself. It is located on the island of Berk, but that island is known to have dragon-riding warriors who have defeated villains such as Viggo Grimborn and even Drago Bludvist, so he must plan carefully. He starts by sending out a group of scouts lead by his daughter Brenna, and in that group is a girl named Alice Flarson. On their journey to Berk, they are attacked by one of the rarest and feared dragons in the world: the Flightmare. A dragon that glows as bright as the sun and is capable of freezing its enemies in fear. The dragon is struck down, but Alice finds it injured on the small island where the group temporarily set up camp. She frees the dragon and flees back to her camp, but as time goes on she finds herself going back to find the dragon and even befriending it. During all of this she discovers a side to dragons that no one from her tribe ever saw, and she makes it her job to warn the chief of Berk before Alryne can take the king of dragons and put the entire dragon kind at jeopardy. War against Alryne is inevitable, but Alice thinks she might be able to help Berk prepare for the battle ahead.Complete

This is a Legolas love story but if any of you have read my other fan fictions then you know I love character development and so this is likely to take a long time to get started. Also, I know there are like a billion fan fictions with the same plot, that being a female elf who is part of the fellowship and ends up falling in love with Legolas. In the time Eragon has been absent from Alagaësia, the riders have fallen to vices. Few have been able to raise to fulfill the roles the riders had originally been given, and a dark sect-reminiscent of the Foresworn-has risen to power. When men attack the village, her father disguises her as a young boy and makes her swear never to reveal her identity.
