In the Eyes of a Lost Soldier

In the Eyes of a Lost Soldier is a short story of a soldier who lost his life on the battlefield and some of the things he would say to his loved ones and friends. I understand that this might not completely depict that of a fallen soldier, I wrote this because of a soldier that I went to high school with that was just recently killed. I didn't know him well. To be honest, I didn't know him at all. I never talked to him, but I knew who he was. So this short story is dedicated to him because even though I didn't know him, I know he was a good soul gone to soon.
