Fae was type of girl who would kick some ass and ask questions only when she felt the absolute need to. She was dangerous in looks, in attitude, and even the way she carried herself screamed danger in every aspect of the word. Aiden knew he was the "shit" or so he thought up until he met Fae and she stomped his ego down a few pegs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fae's cousin and Aiden's bestfriend sends Aiden to bail Fae out of jail what Aiden didn't expect was for his bestfriend's mysterious cousin to be drop dead sexy with a boner inducing smirk and he definitely didn't exspect for her to be the first woman to put him in his place. As the two begin to spend time together they start to catch feelings for each other, but can they really start a relationship with lies and secrets that could be exposed at any time. The past comes back to haunt them.

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?"
