They say that heartbreak can change a person. Make them stronger, weaker, ruin their ideas of love, lose their faith in love all together. Something. For me, however, it was just numbing.
Before him, I was full of life. I had expectations, goals and adventures I was looking to peruse. But now...now there was nothing. He took that all with him when he left. Or when I left.
