"You know what Ray? Fuck you." I said as I gracefully showed him the finger. "That's right, a nerd just flipped you off and slapped you."
I see the range building in his eyes as he stared down at my small frame. Scratch that, I'm freaking 5'5, I'm not small, he's just a humongous Greek god like tree. Yes, I just called him a tree, shoot me. A low husky growl snapped me out of my daze.
"You better sleep with one eye open love."

Isabel, has perfect grades, perfect gpa, no social life, blah blah blah. Nerd. Well, everyone classifies her as one. So she just acts like one.
Raydon, aka Ray, is in a gang and has many secretes.
Like every other girl her age, Isabel has a bestie, Emily. Who is very sweet and also is a nerd.
Like every other guy his age, Ray has a group of friends. But they're tighter than most friend groups considering they're a gang.

Isabel grew up with her protective older brother, Nate, along with her loving parents. Nate is fairly well known around school and gets along with everyone. He's known to be 'hot' to most girls and with his looks, it's not surprising. On the other hand, Isabel prefers to be in the shadows during school and stay in her room on the weekends. And no, she did not get bullied. In fact, one day, Isabel gets determined to change her life and the way society looks at nerds like her.
But here's the twist, can a nerd be bad at the same time? Ultimately as Isabel makes this change, she crosses path with Ray, who is at the top of the food chain. Later on, they both find themselves unknowingly falling in love. With. Each. Other. Oh lord, what does fate and high school have in store for them.
