Charlotte Lewis had a problem, a big problem in fact. Out of impulse, she hurt herself and her parents shipped her off to England to finish out her high school career. Charlotte didn't mind though because it let her run away from her problems that needed solving but that's just how she dealt with things then. She was sixteen at the time and was mixed up. Instead of only having herself to blame she blamed her best friend, Kellin, as well, considering he caused her this pain and heartache. But what happens after Charlotte has to return home five years later and face the problems-and people- she left behind?

Previously titled Could've Been Warning**this does contain some strong language and mild sexual content** 17 year old Kelsie Cole was your classic good girl. Her only problems seemed to be her cheating boyfriend and a mysterious illness she couldn't control. Until the boyfriend dumps her and her best friend helps her figure out who she is. Join her 20 years later as she's married to the bad boy everyone said would break her heart and she learns that someone she hadn't considered at all had a huge roll in the direction her life took. Most of the book takes place in 1993/94 as teenage Kelsie tries to make her life as simple as possible. With only the first and last chapters being in the present. With adult Kelsie. Take a trip back in time, before Facebook and cell phones, but when dating and love was still just as scary! If you find adults boring, skip to chapter 3.
