One Thing Remains

how we see each other and the world is always changing,

never ending,

It's a process,

the process of life,

live through change,

thrive through change,

be THAT change...

But one thing remains,

And to this day,

I'm not so sure what it is,

I think it's humanity's hunger to be better,

Or perhaps it's the boy-next-door's incapability to not fall in love with her,

Or what of it's one of those things that happens but we don't talk about,

Maybe one day I'll know,

And I'll tell you,

But I don't know where the world is headed,
